2016 Cycle de Vine - June 25, 2016

Registration will open December 1, 2015

Welcome to Lake Chelan's  deep blue water, 300 days of sunshine, world-class wineries,  gourmet restaurants, and small-town charm.  The pristine 50.5 mile glacier-fed lake is 1.5 miles at its widest and 1486 ft. at its deepest point. The Lake Chelan Valley is nestled in the North Cascades National Forest.

This beautiful ride through the Lake Chelan, Valley has grown over 20% in each of the last 3 years.  We expect to host 300 riders in 2014.  The ride passes through orchards and vineyards into the mountainous terrain surrounding Lake Chelan; one of the world’s most spectacular glacial carved lakes with some of Washington State’s most impressive scenery.

2015 will be the fifth year of the Lake Chelan Cycle de Vine.  The ride is approximately 35 miles long passing through breathtaking scenery and visiting some of the Chelan Valley's preeminent wineries. Selected wineries will host a rest-stops stocked with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Drinking of wine at the rest stops will be discouraged.

Come get acquainted with the beautiful Chelan Valley from the wheels up.  The 2015 Cycle de Vine offers routes for riders at all experience levels.  You will pedal a smooth 11 miles round trip up the South Shore and back to Don Morse Park, stopping at wineries along the way to collect treasure coupons.  Or perhaps you favor a longer ride with more treasure stops cycling along the North Shore to Manson and back.  Those with strong legs and an eye for all the prizes will want to do both sides of the lake.

Our friendly volunteers will man each winery stop and give you the coupon designed by each winery with their prize offer and expiration date.  Many will welcome Cycle de Vine riders to redeem coupons any time this summer, or even longer.  Some wineries are offering free tastings.  Some have other ideas in mind.  Check the facebook page for updates.

Knowing cyclists don't have pockets, we are providing you with a very useful ride wallet in an appropriate merlot color complete with Cycle de Vine logo.  Certainly useful on many rides and occasions;  good here for your map of stops and for collecting your coupons.

Come and enjoy a leisurely ride with us.
